Utah Counties, Pen & Paper

The "Pen and Paper" theme asks for a hand-drawn look. John Nelson's pen-style symbol sets for ArcGIS Pro give that look without leaving the software used for the rest of the challenge. This entry applies them to Utah's 29 counties and their county seats. The boundary and city-location layers come from UGRC.

Minimalist by design

I kept the map simple. It has clean county boundaries, small seat markers, and enough line texture to look sketched instead of plotted. That is a contrast to the data-heavy maps elsewhere in the challenge. It also shows how much symbology alone can change the tone of a map.
